2.4Services · API & integrations
Connect the tools your business already uses
Payments, accounting, CRM and email talking to your website, so data flows between them without copying and pasting. Plus APIs for your apps and partners.
All servicesWhy integrate
Most businesses run on a handful of services: one for payments, one for accounts, one for customers and one for email. When they don’t talk to each other, someone ends up copying data between them by hand, and mistakes creep in.
Integrations do that work automatically. A payment on your site can create the invoice in Xero, add the customer to HubSpot and sign them up to the right Mailchimp list, all without anyone touching it.
What I connect
I’ve built integrations with:
- Stripe and GoCardless for card payments, subscriptions and Direct Debit.
- Xero for invoices, payments and accounting.
- HubSpot for CRM, contacts and deals.
- Mailchimp for email lists and marketing.
If the service you use has an API, I can usually connect it too.
APIs, both ways
As well as connecting to other people’s APIs, I build them. If you have a mobile app, a separate front end or partners who need access to your data, I’ll build an API with authentication, documentation and versioning, usually with Laravel.
Built to keep working
Integrations need care after launch. Providers change their APIs, keys expire and webhooks fail. I build in logging and retries so problems are spotted and fixed quickly, and offer support retainers to keep everything running.
2.4.1What I do
Integration services
- 1.
Payments
Card payments, subscriptions and Direct Debit through Stripe and GoCardless, with webhooks that keep your records in step.
- 2.
Accounting
Invoices, payments and customers sent to Xero automatically, so your books match what happened on the site.
- 3.
CRM and email marketing
Enquiries, sign-ups and customer activity sent to HubSpot and Mailchimp, so sales and marketing see the full picture.
- 4.
APIs for apps and partners
Documented, secure APIs that power mobile apps and front ends, or let partners connect to your platform.
- 5.
Connecting to other APIs
Pulling data in from, and pushing it out to, the third-party services your business relies on.
- 6.
Monitoring and support
Integrations break when a provider changes something. Retainers keep them watched, updated and working.
