React websites and apps with Next.js
Fast, search-friendly sites and web apps built on React, with server rendering, static pages and Vercel hosting in one framework.
All servicesWhy Next.js
Next.js is the right choice when you want the React ecosystem with the speed and search visibility of a server-rendered site. Pages can be built ahead of time, rendered on request or refreshed in the background, so a single project can mix marketing pages, logged-in areas and app-like interfaces.
It’s also a natural fit if your team or product already uses React. If your site is mostly content that rarely changes, Astro will usually be lighter and simpler, and if your team prefers Vue, Vue and Nuxt give you the same benefits. I’ll recommend whichever suits the project.
How I build it
I’ve been building with Next.js since 2024, and use the parts that suit each project:
- The App Router and React Server Components. Most of the work happens on the server, so pages send less JavaScript and load faster.
- Static, server and incremental rendering. Each page is rendered the way that suits it, from fully static to always up to date.
- TypeScript throughout. Code that stays organised and easy to change as the project grows.
- Headless CMSs when your team needs to edit. WordPress, Storyblok or Sanity, with Next.js building the front end from your content.
Hosting and support
Next.js sites are hosted on Vercel, the team behind Next.js, so new features work straight away and every change can be previewed before it goes live. Once your site is live, I offer support and maintenance retainers to keep Next.js and its dependencies up to date and keep adding features as your needs change.
Working with agencies
I work with agencies as well as directly with clients. If you need a Next.js developer to build from your designs or look after an existing React site, I’m happy to work under your name.
