Why Laravel

Laravel is the right choice when your project is more application than website. That might be an API powering a mobile app or front end, a portal your customers log in to, or a system that processes data behind the scenes: imports, reports, scheduled jobs and integrations with other services.

These are things a traditional CMS like WordPress was never designed to do. Laravel gives me a solid, well-supported foundation to build exactly what your business needs, rather than forcing your processes into a plugin. If your site is mostly content that a team of editors keeps up to date, WordPress is usually the better fit, and I’ll tell you so.

How I build it

I’ve been building with Laravel since 2015, and I use the parts of its ecosystem that suit each project:

• Livewire or Inertia for interfaces. Livewire for fast, server-driven interfaces; Inertia with Vue when the front end needs to feel more like an app.
• Filament or Nova for admin panels. Proper back-office tools for your team, without building every screen from scratch.
• Queues and Horizon for the heavy lifting. Imports, emails, reports and integrations run in the background, so the application stays fast for the people using it.
• Tested with Pest and PHPUnit. Automated tests mean changes can ship with confidence, years after the first release.

Hosting and support

I don’t host applications myself. Instead I set them up on services built for Laravel, such as Laravel Forge or Laravel Cloud, so you own the account and the servers are managed properly. Once the application is live, I offer support and maintenance retainers to keep Laravel, PHP and dependencies up to date, fix issues quickly and keep adding features as your business grows.
